I have DirectX 12 so i decided to try out Vibrant Visuals, but in the video settings i found that Vibrant Visuals is grayed out.
Steps to reproduce: Open Minecraft Preview, Make a world with the Vibrant Visuals experiment, then open settings while in the world, go to the Video Tab, scroll down and then open the graphics settings dropdown.

I am using Intel(R) Iris(R)
Xe Graphics. i thought that my gpu wasn’t the problem because it just says DX12
You must have Intel graphics driver version 31.0.101.3430 or above installed for Minecraft to run on DirectX 12. Open dxdiag, click on the Display tab, and check what graphics driver version you have installed. If your graphics driver version is lower than 31.0.101.3430, install the latest drivers here and then see if you can enable Vibrant Visuals:

If you meant to say drivers, then it’s normal for drivers to take up some storage space. If not, I don’t know why you lost storage space after using Vibrant Visuals.
Since you can now use Vibrant Visuals, I will close this report.
I have the same problem with DX12 on Win 10
