Unable to Import Skin on Bedrock Edition

I want to import a custom skin however whenever I click the button ingame, it does nothing. (As can be seen in Screenshot 1)
Whenever I press the expand button to the right of the [Choose New Skin] button, I see (Screenshot 2) where I can spin around my last imported skin. However I do not equip the skin, instead it just goes back to the skin I currently have equipped (Screenshot 3)
