Villagers cant open copper door but can close them

Villagers cant enter the houses I make for them that uses copper doors but when I change the doors to wooden door types they enter and exit fine. Also when I open the door for them they can enter and close the door. They try to path find to the bed inside but cant open door. I tried this bug on realms and on single player creative mode.
