Vibrant Visuals: fog in caves is exaggerated

When Vibrant Visuals is activated, caves become to foggy, you can’t see anything past 10 blocks in front of the player. Changing the “Volumetric Fog Quality” to any value doesn’t fix this. Only way to actually see something in caves is to disable Vibrant Visuals.

When enabling VV, it reduces the render distance, making large caves appear foggy. That’s a thing with normal lighting as well, you just have to lower the render distance manually.

I’m sorry but this doesn't look intended. It’s just too much, can barely see anything. My render distance is set to the max (24 chunks). If this is actually intended I dont see myself using VV… What’s the point of having 24 chunks loaded if I cant even see one in front of me?

I think this problem can be fixed in the settings for vibrant visuals.

Even after changing settings to max, I cannot reproduce this (see image). Is this an issue for you in the latest preview?
