Shoulder button doesn't work on controller

So, I noticed that the R2 button (trigger button) hasn't been working; It doesn't count as pressed, and doesn't even work, actually. I am aware that this issue has been reported, and no devs or anyone reported nor fixed it, and it's something that needs to be fixed and threated as a high-priority issue despite of some persons that uses a controller, and then not being able to break blocks because of the button not working. It's been happening on Xiaomi Redmi 4
