When it's daytime and I walk in villages, I see stacks upon stacks of potatoes and bread randomly pop up everywhere. It has been two Minecraft days and I have filled up over 2 large chests full of potatoes, and gotten around 5 stacks of bread. And the next day, as you can see in the screenshots, enough stacks of potatoes to fill up at least 3 large chests spawn in groups! I want this fixed, weird glitch.
EDIT:
I then decided to destroy all the farm dirt of the gardens in the village, and the glitch never occured again. Also, I visited another village in the same world, and the glitch occured with carrots this time... makes a great way to get easy emeralds though 😛

Re attached photo...... I managed to stop this one in time... my carrot episode later was a disaster with the veg appearing outside of the village as well as against fences and inside the houses.
I found the same glitch but the villagers were trading with each other and one kept spitting out bread
This is happening to me as well. The farmer throws crops at other villagers to get them to breed. But it is stack and stacks of an items instead of just a few. I was just getting carrots so replanted with potatoes and now they throw stacks upon stacks of potatoes. I locked up the farmer and it stopped, let the farmer lose and it started again.

On my created village I too removed the tilled areas and the problem has stopped. This may be classified as a duplicate but there is definitely something wrong with the food sharing mechanism on iOS. The food just appears out of thin air in areas where there aren't even villagers and creates havoc with the performance until all food is taken away. Problem is there is just far too much to cope with in survival and I have to go into creative to do it!
