Opening a chest well operating a flying machine crashes the game.

When a chest is attached to a flying machine through slime blocks and opened well it is moving, it will end up freezing/crashing the game. I made sure to test multiple designs, and all had the same issue. To replicate the issue in question, follow the steps below:
1. Build any design of flying machine. The design within the picture I attached is called a "caterpillar design" and is quite easy to build.
2. Attach slime blocks with chests on them as depicted in the picture.
3. Start the machine by placing a redstone block next to the lower piston and breaking.
4. Open the chest well it is in operation, and the game should have crashed.
This is likely caused because of the fact chests are entities, and have issues being moved fast on the machine.
