When I'm in creative mode my head will go through blocks sometimes. It's very annoying, but it doesn't always happen. Hopefully, it doesn't happen in survival mode.
It can be used for an x-ray vision of course. I've been having trouble with the affected versions so this started in 0.16.1 and is still ongoing.
