In some of my worlds parts of trees will go missing and parts of at least large coral will also get deleted, this leaves floating leaves from trees floating or in some cases half of the leaves will have but cut off, and in coral sometimes half or a quarter will be cut off, this always happens in straight lines along the X and Z coordinates respectively, I first noticed this a while back but it seems with each update to get worse, I’m not sure when exactly it started but it has been a while, this seems to happen to all trees, the reason I have both trees and coral mentioned is I believe they are the result of the same issue not each their own as their deletion patterns are pretty much identical to each other, the screenshots I have attached are some examples of trees and coral that have been partially deleted, this has happened across the entire world even in already loaded chunks, and it definitely still affects the largest versions of the game for bedrock edition at least
I seem to be having the same problem on Bedrock Edition with trees. In addition, bodies of water seem to have a similar problem; in some regions, there will be random pockets of air in the middle of the water. I wonder if it might have anything to do with changes in terrain generation with subsequent updates. Attached are some of my own pictures of this.
