With the new Vibrant Visuals I noticed a small issue, that also occurred with Ray Tracing Packs: When turned off the water texture is barely noticeable.
I may have an idea to fix this issue and allow more ressource pack custom ability:
Why not include a folder system for graphic context (Normal rendering, Vibrant Visuals/Deferred rendering and Ray Tracing) kind of similar to Minecraft Java edition packs allowing different textures depending on the version of the game that uses it, but with rendering context.
This would allow quick toggle without having to disable texture pack cause of the water, and could allow some details to be added or removed depending on that (especially water).
Here’s an example of the difference (one image is with the experiment on, and the 2nd, with brighter water is without the experiment, and the look of the water in the current released)
