Cannot leave the beta even though I left it on playstore but once reinstalled it is still on beta

I tried reinstalling and uninstalling the app to bring me back to the public version. I already left the beta on playstore. I tried reinstalling the non beta version on playstore but once its done downloading and I opened the app. It is still on beta
