Player Locator Bar doesn't show player locations correctly in split screen multiplayer

I think this is on Xbox too, I’ve had this problem

I have this problem on the brand new update

on console when in split screen multiplayer the locator bar for player 1 is were player 2 is facing and player 2 has a locator bar that goes left every time player 1 or player 2 moves right and when player 1 and player 2 move left player 2's locator bar moves right
