I had a world before the 1.21.90.20 preview update and it was working fine, my friends were able to join and ran smoothly enough at the time.

After updating to 1.21.90.20 a friend would try join my world and their Minecraft will crash out completely. At one point it mentioned “Global Resources Reset” Whilst loading up to join a world.

Hey skies here I found a fix

I had a resource pack names soundscape after removing the resource pack they could join again

Try removing every resource pack

This still remains an issue here after removing all resource packs, even trying an easier save hasn't worked.
