Vibrant Visuals Water Background Effect

There seems to be a background effect to flowing water from the village fountain in the latest version of Vibrant Visuals. It seems to fade off slowly once the player looks away from the water, with the effect lingering at the direction the player looked at when looking at the water, before fading off. The attached video showcases the issue.
