Blocks disappearing under my feet

I was making a diagonal dirt bridge in the end dimention from one island to another while all of a sudden my blocks just all disappeared out of nowhere for no reason and i lost everything i worked hard for. My internet connection was fine I was playing on Realms and beacause of how u made the game i can't even turn on cheats to get my stuff back because I won't be able to get achievements. I want an explanation as to how is that fair that your game is full of bugs that I'm sure players are constantly reporting about and when stuff like that happens i just have to accept that my hard work for everything that i had on myself is just gone not because of a mistake i made but because this game is unplayable.
