Crawling With Elytra Into An End Gateway Teleports Player Into Void

When crawling through the end gateway player character was teleported into the void causing player to die upon entry through the gateway.

What is truly unfortunate about this bug encounter is that I had only saw it in a video in which this same bug happened to another person.
