Nonfunctional entities

Entities are not functioning. Mobs play sounds but don't move, interact, or take damage. Chests don't open. Villagers can't trade. Pick axes can break items but they never drop anything, I'm in survival mode with cheats and behavior packs disabled. I'm on the latest non-preview version. (1.21.72) the version listing says 73 on it but my tablet didn't update it. I don't know what I did or what caused the issue but it happened when I found a village with a ruined portal in a world with the seed 5662255238676291.
