Xbox Controller does not function for chat and text UI

The Xbox controller no longer functions for Chat and text UI while playing Minecraft on the Android (S24u). Other function mapping is fine when outside of the text UI.

While in text mode (i.e command block, chat screen, signs) the controller is completely unresponsive, including but not limited to its native mapping:

• Double click and hold A to pull up android clipboard

• Click RB and LB to move text cursor through the lines of text

• clicking X to delete text

This bug only occurs after the player has clicked onto the text UI screen to add an entry
