Allays that pass through the nether when the player moves away return to the nether

I moved 3 allays from the nether to my base, when I leave them tied up or entertained with a note blok when I move away they disappear and go back into the nether, even if the portal is covered and they have no access (playing on realms and without addons, only texture packs)
