Vibrant Visuals: Light-emitting blocks and underwater are uncomfortably bright with Night Vision

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced and reported this, or if it’s all the Console versions or just the PlayStation and Mobile versions, but when I use the Night Vision Potion or the Conduit, it makes light-emitting blocks like lava and glow berry vines and glass underwater uncomfortably bright. Everything else looks amazing, but I, and I’m sure many others would highly appreciate it. I teleported to an Ocean Monument and Lush Cave biome to get easy screenshots to use these examples.
