Minecraft crashes when I paste a text in.(Ctrl+v)

I logged on to Minecraft to play. I joined a superflat world I was working on. I went to paste in a particle command. When I pressed Ctrl+v it crashed. I checked if I missed a Minecraft update. Nope. I updated linux. Nothing. I tested on a survival world and I crashed again. Right now I can’t log on to realms so I can’t test that right now. But I will if I can and on hive, and cubecraft. I don’t know why it did this. Is it something with my Chromebook or Microsoft account? I haven’t been able to log on to Minecraft after I updated a few days ago(this always happens for a bit) so is it that? is it the update that did this?It happens in both chat and command blocks. I also removed all texture packs and mods on the world and globle resources? I have no clue why this is happening.
