What happened?
This bug has been discovered a long time ago (2024) and has happened twice (today) since then. I figured that every time i travel to an incredible far place (e.g. X=7000 Z=14000 from the video) and somehow restart the game, the sprinting footsteps, which have a faster rhythm than walking, sound like i am just walking instead. So you are sprinting at the moment but what you can hear from the footsteps are walking sounds. this might sound small but it’s really constant and has been unsolved for a long time i guess.
Summary:
You sprint, but the in-game sprinting footsteps are basically the walking footstep sounds.

How to reproduce the bug:
Start the game.
Create a world.
Travel endlessly to far away positions (i guess X/Y:10.000 are the minimum), or, just TP.
Avoid restarting the game before reaching the positions.
Check how your footsteps sound. They should be normal.
Save and quit the world.
Restart the game.
Once it’s restarted, reload the world.
The footsteps while sprinting will mistakenly appear to sound like walking, like what i have described and in the video).
Expected result:
I walked and sprinted normally without hearing these missed footsteps. even at X/Y: 1 million.
Actual result:
i heard the sprinting footsteps were wrong and giving the walking footsteps instead, which could be really annoying if it’s continuous.
Anyone in the team, if you solve this issue i really appreciate. and it’s fine if you ignore this because you guys have more important issues than this to work on. good luck!
