Vibrant Visuals End Dimension Glitch

When I activated the experimental vibrant visuals on a new world and traveled to the end dimension, and it looked pretty much the same at first but a bit more grainy, (sidenote: Everything looks very grainy with vibrant visuals on for some reason), but then the sky kept flashing as if there was a lightning storm but obviously, being in the end, there wasn’t. It was very jarring, makes it impossible to do anything without getting distracted, and I don’t know why it happened or if it always is going to happen when in the end dimension, or if it has something to do with the fact there WAS a thunderstorm going on in the Overworld at the time.
