I have a survival world that I’ve spent a lot of time on, and it crashes a few seconds after loading, making it completely unplayable.
This issue started after updating to version 1.21.80, and it still continues even after the release of 1.21.81.
Other worlds (including both survival and creative ones) load and run just fine, so the crash appears to be limited to this one specific world.
I’m playing on a PlayStation 5, and this world has been mostly played in multiplayer with my husband.
This world is very important to me, and I hope there will be a fix in a future update
Hey. If your using any resource packs, try disabling them to see if it resolves the crashing issue in your world(s). With the latest Minecraft Bedrock Edition updates (1.21.80, 1.21.81, and 1.21.82), some packs have broken due to recent changes to the game engine. One affected pack is Actions & Stuff. Through my own testing, I found that the game crashes specifically when a horse, mule, or donkey is spawned, whether by spawn egg, command, or natural spawning. Disabling mob spawning prevented crashes, and the issue consistently returned once those mobs appeared. Since the pack is from the Marketplace, I couldn't access the files directly to confirm the exact cause, but it seems to be a rendering error with those entities. Hope this helps you and anyone trying to narrow down crash causes after the update.
