Horses incorrectly show amount of hearts/changes

Some horses (but not all) don’t show their true value of health hearts. You can leave the area, come back and suddenly the hearts they had aren’t showing. If you take horse into the nether, they appear again. However next time you return to horse they are probably missing those hearts again. Doesn’t seem to affect horses that have a name tag but everything else is sketchy
