Off-hand Usage

im not sure if this is a bug or a choice developers made, but i cannot use offhand for ANYTHING in Bedrock. I STRONLY RELY on it in java and it makes the game a lot more inconvinient and difficult and overall just a worse game. . .yes you can use shields, totems, and arrows. but i rely on tools, torches, food, blocks. . . .if this isnt an actual bug im sorry. .however it really makes me want to quit this version
