When I comepletely exit minecraft and go back in it restarts my game

After getting mcpe 1.0.0.1 I was excited but when I went into the game my minecraft restarted! All of my servers were deleted and my settings, name, and skin were set to as if I just bought the game. The only thing that stayed the same were my worlds. Then when I was done fixing my settings I crashed and when I went back in, EVERYTHING WAS RESET AGAIN! It is still happening in 1.0.9. Also, for what I know of this only happens with kindle fire (not an edition that was listed above.) So now I have to use a different device to play on servers or on anything. 😞
