On Minecraft: PlayStation 5 Edition, the game crashes when the player attempts to confirm text on a sign. The crash occurs immediately after confirming the text input. This issue causes the game to close entirely, resulting in the loss of all unsaved progress. This can significantly impact gameplay, especially in survival mode or during building sessions. It always tends to happen the second time I confirm text on a sign.
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Minecraft on PlayStation 5.
Enter any existing or new world (Creative or Survival).
Place a sign (any type).
Interact with the sign.
Press Enter
Observed Results:
The game crashes and produces a crash report. Any unsaved progress is lost.
Expected Results:
Text should be successfully entered onto the sign, and the game should continue running without crashing.
Sorry for the poor video quality. PS5s automatically stop screen recordings when a crash occurs, so I had to record using my phone.
