Villagers cause lag when more than 20-50 villagers are active

Entity - Lagging Both Singleplayer/Realms - Tested on both PC and Console

Lag becomes increasingly noticeable to the point of the gameplay being effected seriously to the point of unplayability when more than 20 - 50 villagers are active.

I have seen many solutions online about this issue but non have worked because the issue is that even if the entity is offline (outside of a loaded Chunk) the entity lag is still present and slows down the game.

I thought when an NPC villager or mob gets out of the sight of the SP player or MP player who is playing on the same server regardless of multiplayer or single player the NPC should be in a offline mode outside of the 4 - 12 set simulation active chunks that dose not eat into the CPU and cause problems for the game is this true?

The way I was able to detect lag was with the help of an official addon that is the ULTIMATE BLASTERS Add-On v1.1 using the mark 4 auto blaster allowing the user to see the fire rate completely slow down as well as lag far behind the player using it rendering the addon almost useless.

I then tested this same method with third part addons and they had the same results of being completely slowed down when using the item.

To fix the problem I had to delete all the villager entities from the game world and then it came back to normal, in conclusion the Villager type mobs that do not despawn cause lag even when the player is so far away that that area should be completely unloaded not consuming any CPU usage yet the task manager was in critical mode stating almost and most cases all 100% in use.

This lag also means addons that utilize Villagers like the FantasyCraft 1.5 addon that spawn knights and villagers in towns that are randomly generated are a ticking time boom of lag on any game mode singleplayer or multiplayer eating away at cpu and slowing down the game to a stop.

Villagers are a big part of Minecraft so having entities like that whom do not despawn cause such a game breaking bug becasue of the AI not going offline when no players are around is really worrying on how people can create larger worlds with towns and shops.

I really hope the lag and AI of the entities gets fixed somehow because they are all awesome and add so much for the game.

The Worlds have around 16 to almost 20 addons. everything works fine until a few minutes or almost an hour in game then it lags to the point of visibly seeing that the blasters and Mobs are lagging also when driving a motor from the Official Addon it is visible lagging.

When you load up the worlds there are 3 version i provided one is with all my addons the second is with one less addon and the last only has the blasters and the Villager ++ addon strangely the one with all the addons removed appears to be not lagging that much so this must be an addon limit problem or somthing becasue from experience in modding Java lot of people talk about having 100+ and it depends on PC hardware however on Bedrock I only have 18 addons all official addons and not expensively taxing the game world whatsoever.

but it behaves strangely and on the realms with this addon list it completely becomes unplayable……. i tested the server region from where I am located and tested it to another country no difference in lag it all lagged unfortunately.

I just want to build a town and play like the sims (oviously I wont spawn in 1000 villagers becasue thats just too much) the limit i keep is around 10 - 20 in each village and they are spread out from each other far enough for the chunk active simulation.

There are no incompatibilities with these addons i specifically tested all of them to be as compatible with each other as possible… the lag starts when exploring and then expanding villages.

I might just have a potato PC but thats no excuse for a ps5 to be the same exact laggy.

I hope there is no limit on addons for Bedrock becasue addons are the best thing ever availability from a trusted source and constant updates becasue the addon creator is getting somthing out of it, there was many time when i gave up on java all together because the addon makers just gave up and not update their mods yea they are for free but that is not really good in the long run for the life time of an addon if its for free and located on third party websites.

all in all i really want to experience realms with addons and play. and i dont think 10 - 20 addons are that much.

The m249 addon side by side with the mark 4 blaster should be auto projectile launchers and they are noticeable slow then get even slower until they become like semi auto single projectiles.

at first i thought it must be the third party addons doing this but it also happens with trusted source official addon so it has to be with bedrocks or Minecraft's AI build up and how AI entity's are handled by the software also the addons…… really hope there is a fix for this in the next updates becasue I'm really looking forward to purchasing more addons from the store.

there should be 3 files one is with only official mods other is with one third party mod (a blaster mod) and the 3rd is with just the 2 blaster mods and that one with only a low number of addons active lags less but I reckon if I played it for a longer time it might start too.

My friend was also complaining about getting lagged out whenever we join up together on a relams, tho singleplayer is affected as well

when in the world use the landmarks as fast travel and if you get stuck in them just change the design of them and the player should get unstuck, thats not really the issue tho it mainly if anywhere spawns more than 20 Villagers the whole world is just frozen and on realms is completely stops to a stand still slow-motion.
