In Minecraft Bedrock on Android, there is a problem with the touch-based stack splitting system.
When a player long-presses an item in their inventory and drags to the left to choose a custom quantity (using the new slider), if their finger ends up over the left-side item category tabs (like Nature, Tools, Combat), then releasing the finger doesn’t confirm the stack size. Instead, it triggers a category change.
Expected behavior:
Releasing the finger after choosing a quantity should split the stack and give the chosen amount of the item.
Actual behavior:
The game switches item categories instead of confirming the selected quantity
Touchscreen only bug – not reproducible on keyboard/mouse
