Zombie iron ingots drop is too rare

I've noticed that the iron ingot drop is far rarer then one every 40 zombies. Once I had to kill 132 zombies just to get a single ingot which makes superflat survival more difficult. From what I've gathered the actual drop rate looks more like one every 60 or one every 70.
