Cannot access the network after Android OS update

My Galaxy tab A9+ just did an OS update and now it can't access the realms server or the marketplace or anything else on the network. The problem is specific to this device and Galaxy software version. I have gone through all permissions, wiped everything, reinstalled and so on, and none of that makes any difference.
