Cannot equip mismatched arms and legs in character creator

Steps to reproduce the issue

Open Minecraft Bedrock on the latest version. Navigate to the character creator and select “Edit Character” > expand “Body” > “Arms”. Select one of the arm options

Expected result

Like in pervious versions, an option should appear above the “Default” button that toggles between “Left”, “Right”, and “Both”. Using this toggle lets the user decide on which side, or both, the custom arm should be equipped. This allows for one custom and one default arm, or two unique custom arms to be equipped simultaneously.

Actual result

The option is missing from the menu. Consequently, both sides must have the default arms or both have the same custom arm; it is not possible to equip mismatched arms.

Notes

It may come into question whether this is a bug or an intentional change by Mojang. I believe it is unintentional for three reasons. First, the item previews for most arms shows the arm equipped only on the right side. This advertises behavior that is not possible in the current version. Second, there is no mention of changing character creator behavior like this in any changelog. Finally, minecraft can be rolled back to version 1.21.2, before the bug was present, and a custom character with mismatched arms created. Then, when bringing that character into the latest version, the behavior is inconsistent. The game seems to randomly decide whether the arms should remain unchanged, both arms be one of the previously mismatched arms, both arms be default, or if the arms should visually change while the game still thinks it’s still using the same mismatched arms as before. If the change were intentional, then the convention of character creator skins from one edition to another would be intentional and consistent.

This bug report has so far exclusively mentioned behavior with character creator arms; however, everything mentioned applies equally to character creator legs as well. If necessary, I can provide more examples or screenshots to help narrow down the issue. Thank you.
