Setting up a basic jeb door, with slime or honey blocks in place as the moved blocks, and a torch to invert the signal. Changing the delay between the primary and secondary pistons seems to change the chance of the sticky blocks to be left behind, but it does not prevent it
Expected result: pistons retract sticky blocks with pistons and the door opens
Actual result: Occasionally, the sticky blocks are left behind by the pistons and so the door does not open
The behavior you are seeing is a result of intended randomization in the update order of redstone components in Bedrock Edition: see MCPE-16371. You may need adjust timings or find a Bedrock specific tutorial to help with building your contraption.
Specifically: when upper horizontal sticky pistons on the right or left try to retract before the lower ones, they are unable to pull all of the blocks back because the lower pistons are extended and therefore block the vertical piston from being pulled along with the slime/honey that it is attached to. The build might work if you simply remove the lower horizontal stick pistons, as they are not needed to pull the vertical pistons.
