shortcut for MinecraftVR not working

i followed the instructions to make an alternate shortcut that should launch Minecraft Bedrock in VR (minecraft://Mode/?OpenXR=true), it worked before, but now that i reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch, the game still run on flat only even with my Meta Quest 3 connected with Air Link

Access to VR was removed in 1.21.80 per the changelog:

Removed access to Virtual and Mixed Reality gameplay.
