Can't change skin

I’ve been trying everything, but at this point, I give up. The dressing room continues to fail to load skins (see 46) and every time I force it into applying a new custom skin, I get stuck on the skin type screen (see 47). I can’t interact with it, and can't get out of it. All I can do is restart the game which doesn’t do anything but give me the same problems. Mojang, please don’t make me switch to Java. I’d like help please.
