Iron Belly Achievement not working

Im in a survival world (cheats are disabled and achievements are obtainable on this world) and I’ve been trying to get every Minecraft achievement although I can’t seem to get the “Iron belly” achievement. I’ve let my hunger bar deplete completely then ate rotten flesh till my hunger bar was full and I still haven’t gotten the achievement.
