[MCPE-222393] Game crashes when joining world in split-screen

We play on Xbox series X, Minecraft and the Xbox are upto Date

I am trying to play with my brother on a world via local split screen. The problem is that when I join the world the whole game crashes.

Please find a fix for this

When I try to local split screen with my older brother on a hardcore world it signs me in as a guest account even though I didn’t choose it

Please help I just want to be able to play Minecraft again

Similar issue. Xbox - player one works fine. Player 2 logs in and it registers as Player 1 (guest account) when Player 3 tries to log in it crashes and says that player is already signed in on a different devise.

Tried uninstalling Minecraft and reinstalling.

also duplicated the issue using other accounts. Cross platform play seems to be working fine.

Haven’t tested in PlayStation yet to see if it’s a Xbox issue or a Minecraft issue.

Signing my partner in as a guest of my account when he clicks on his Xbox profile. Think it’s definitely a MC issue as this is following the new update, hope we get his inventory restored when this bug is fixed

Tried to split-screen with my boyfriend, vibrant visuals got turned off, and the game crashed. Unable to play in split-screen on the account I selected or even be in game for more than 4 seconds.
