After installing the new update, I realized that the invite other players button was missing. It is usually under players in my world, but I couldnt find it. I closed and reopened the app multiple times, restarted my device, and made sure I had multiplayer enabled for this world (even though I had already played multiplayer in it). My friend was also unable to join my world from his end even though I was online (the world doesnt require an invite).
