Game being slowed down

I don’t know if it is because of vibrant visuals or its just the normal game but the game keeps slowing down but I remain at 60 fps. My internet is good everything is fine. However it takes a lot of hits to kill a mob or it takes forever for a animal to walk. I dont think creepers are affected by this though because sometimes they actually feel like they speed up when this happens.
