Vibrant Visuals grayed out on iPad 10 (supported device)

I'm using an iPad 10th Generation (A14 chip) on iOS 17.5.1 and running the latest version of Minecraft Bedrock (v1.21.1). The "Vibrant Visuals" graphics option is shown in the settings, but it is always grayed out (disabled) once I enter any world.

I have tested the following:

  • Created brand new worlds with no active resource or behavior packs

  • Disabled all experimental toggles

  • Enabled "In-game graphics mode switching"

  • Reinstalled the Minecraft app

  • Disabled iCloud sync for Minecraft

  • Tried logging in on the same account on another device (Vibrant Visuals works there)

Despite these steps, I still cannot activate Vibrant Visuals in any world on this iPad, even though it's a supported device. Please investigate this issue as it seems to affect iPad 10th Gen specifically.
