I get noticeable performance slowdowns that happen when Happy Ghasts are loaded in my world.
Easy steps to reproduce:
Open a world. Play normally and note that it takes next to no time for particles to appear when breaking blocks.
Spawn a Happy Ghast in that world.
Wait a few minutes with the Happy Ghast nearby.
Play normally and note that particles will take longer to appear after a block is broken.
Kill the Happy Ghast.
Play normally and note that it again takes next to no time for particles to appear when breaking blocks.
Sometimes the slowdown from Happy Ghasts gets very extreme, especially when multiples are involved.
I was hosting a multiplayer world on my iPad and a Switch was connected to it. After each player had a Happy Ghast of our own to ride, the game would sometimes go into very slow motion for 10-20 seconds at a time. Block updates became very laggy. The Happy Ghast I was riding moved so slowly that it appeared not to be moving at all. The slowdowns were intermittent, but plentiful. When I flew my Happy Ghast far away from the other player’s Happy Ghast, these extreme slowdowns eventually ceased, but the minor slowdown that seems to accompany even a single Happy Ghast remained.
