Barrier block re-equips automatically after switching to another block

When I have a barrier block in hand and switch to another block, the barrier block automatically re-equips itself—even if I didn’t select it again. This especially happens after touching or interacting with a wall made of barrier blocks, though it can also happen in other situations.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Equip a barrier block in hand.

2. Manually switch to another block in the hotbar.

3. Touch or approach a wall made of barrier blocks (optional).

4. Observe how the barrier block re-equips without being selected.

Expected behavior:
When switching blocks in the hotbar, the new block should remain selected until the player manually changes it again.

Actual behavior:
The barrier block re-equips automatically without player input.
