Mouse cursor is not locked inside the game window in windowed mode

When playing Minecraft Bedrock on PC in windowed mode, the mouse cursor is not locked inside the game window.

This causes problems when looking up or down — the invisible cursor can leave the game window and click on the taskbar or other windows by accident.

Even though the cursor is hidden, it is still active on the system level. Clicking can minimize the game or interact with other programs unintentionally.

This happens whether fullscreen is on or off — unless true fullscreen mode is used.

The issue does not happen every time, but occurs frequently enough to cause problems during gameplay.

Expected behavior:
The mouse should be locked inside the game window during gameplay, just like in the Java Edition or other first-person games.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Minecraft Bedrock on PC

  2. Set it to windowed mode

  3. Move the camera view up or down

  4. Click — you will often trigger something outside the game

Additional info:
This issue also happens when using F11 to go fullscreen — the mouse cursor is still not locked and can leave the game window.
