Unable to Tab through suggested commands or use arrows to cycle through previous commands on Android

When typing commands into chat using Android, there is no way to auto fill or complete a suggested commands, even when using a keyboard app that has a tab key and arrows. You also can't cycle through previously completed commands using arrows, meaning you have to manually type out each command every time.
