Happy Ghast Multiplayer World Disappearing Bug

I was playing in my multiplayer world with my friend. I had made a hut for the Happy Ghast to stay in. We were using the Happy Ghast to go exploring, however, here’s where the problems start. When we returned from our exploration, we put the Happy Ghast inside it’s hut, there was no way it could’ve gotten out and we never left the chunks, but we noticed that is the Ghast had disappeared, we tried reloading the world and even restarting Minecraft but it was gone. We thought maybe it despawned so we got a new Happy Ghast making sure to name tag it this time. The same thing happened though when we went exploring again, we returned, put the ghast in the hut and it disappeared when we weren’t looking. The think this is quite odd because when I was alone in my world and using the Happy Ghast, that issue never happened, it only seemed to occur the two times I was exploring with my friend. I tried narrowing down the issue to a couple different things:

  • Despawning (No, it couldn’t, we never left the chunks and it was nametagged)

  • Suffocating (The Ghast had plenty of room to move around in the hut and couldn’t have gotten caught on anything. However this could be possible with a small hitbox glitch we found with the Happy Ghast.

I don’t know if this disappearing bug has happened to anyone else due to the set-up required for it to happen, but I really hope this issue is fixed so I don’t have to get a new Happy Ghast every time I play with my friend. (The bug only occurred when my friend and I had just gone exploring with the Happy Ghast, it wouldn’t happen if we were just playing at our base.)
