Boats no longer have momentum when going off of ledges

As of the most recent update, when using a boat off of a waterfall rather than the boat having realistic physics and going slightly off the ledge, the boat simply goes down a block and therefore loses all previous momentum. This is a problem for many servers who rely on this mechanic like ice boating servers, as the momentum you normally gain from going off ledges is key to winning in races and performing tricks and such.
