syncing world data error

created a world only a day ago and when i tried logging onto the world from another xbox, it acted as though i had just freshly spawned into the world. when i logged into the original xbox i have all my progress still, but when i press save and exit it shows a syncing world data menu that says “world upload failed. would you like to try again?”. no matter how many times i click retry it doesn’t work. i’ve restarted the xbox, the game, and even tried making a duplicate world to no avail. the duplicate world won’t even show up on the other console even though the duplicate world doesn’t show the syncing error message, so i thought it would work fine.
