Minecraft Bedrock won't go back from menus (Android – Redmi 9T)

I'm using a Redmi 9T phone with Android 11. In Minecraft Bedrock, when I enter the “Create World” or “Edit World” menus, I can't go back to the main screen. The back gesture doesn't work, and neither does the physical or virtual back button.

The only way to exit is by closing the game completely and reopening it.

I already tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the game, switching from gestures to classic buttons, and even using floating back button apps — nothing worked.

This only happens in menus; inside a world, the “Save and Quit” button works normally.

Please look into this issue, as it affects gameplay a lot.
