Missing Bedrock World and Duplicate

My main Minecraft world, of roughly 498 MB, and a duplicate made of it, which I do once a week has vanished entirely from my Minecraft Bedrock edition World list on my Xbox Series X. The worlds had a Main and a Main (1) suffix to differentiate between backup and normal.

I have been getting “sync failed due to quota" messages every once in a while recently, but I circumvent this by going into the game again and saving and quitting until the error stops appearing. This usually is resolved immediately after the first attempt and the world gets synced successfully without the error. I have had this world for years, as it is the only one I play on, and I make sure to backup the world once a week when I am active on Minecraft. So it is safe to say, at some point, this world was synced to the cloud. My last manual backup of this world was on Tuesday 22/07/2025.

Today, after having difficulty installing an app on my console, one of the proposed suggestions was to clear local saved game and app cache on my console. I did this and the app (Media Player) installed fine. Upon logging back into Minecraft, my main world and its duplicate is simply missing from my world list entirely. I did not select to “Delete from Everywhere” on my console, as you can see in the attached screenshot, a world last saved on Mar 2024 did download back onto my device, which is a backup of the same world I normally play on, but more than an entire year's progress missing from it. This backup (aptly titled Stronghold) was present before and after the sync, so it is not an issue of not having anything synced. This combined with the fact that I have retrieved my world successfully from the cloud on several occasions before indicates that this world should in some form still be somewhere in the cloud as I did not delete any world other than small ones (< 5MB) to force a cloud sync. The total size of all my worlds including the main and its backup were around 995 MB so space isn't an issue in the cloud or on storage devices on my console.

I have also tried creating a new world, titled Reboot to force a sync and hopefully retrieve my world. I have power cycled my console, removed and re-added my xbox profile, uninstalled/reinstalled Minecraft from my console, installed Preview, installed Bedrock via the xbox app on my pc (there are no worlds present at all on PC for me) and cleared local files again to resync with the cloud. All to no avail. My world, and its backup is still missing.

Please assist me to get this world back? It is the only world I have invested significant time into.

Note: quota and sync error only started occurring after the latest .94 hotfix update.

Go to Setting on the Main Page and scroll down to storage if you see switch Between Application and External this may help

@Manan this feature you've discribed does not appear at all. I'm playing on Xbox, so maybe that's why? But I'm not seeing this at all.

I have also subscribed to realms and created a world on there to see if a forced sync would help. None of my world (main or backup) have reappeared thusfar
